The Parish Council's role in local planning is purely to give its opinion to the district council of any planning applications submitted affecting property within the Parish, or significant development applications near the Parish. The Parish Council also attend site meetings within and near the Parish to represent the council and can send representatives to the district planning policy meetings.

Residents seeking more information on planning applications are encouraged to contact the Clerk to the Parish Council.

If you wish to make your views known about any proposed development you can do so by writing to the planning department at the district council or if a major development or road development it may be to the county council. The Planning Advisory group of the Parish Council would welcome your feedback on any applications.
